Community Service
Community Service has always been important to me. My greatest community service achievement is creating my own Non-Profit, LightSaver. My goal is to ensure bike safety worldwide. In order to do this, I created LightSaver, where I put bike lights on as many bicycles as possible. In 2016, I started volunteering every summer at the South Hampton Animal Shelter. I helped train and teach cats how to socialize with humans. In 2020, I volunteered with the South Florida Covid-19 Vaccine Info Group. I helped elderly people inquire and make appointments about getting a Covid vaccine. During the pandemic, I also volunteered with Wishing U Well. I held one-on-one weekly zoom meetings with people with special needs. This enabled individuals with special needs to be able to socialize in a safe way. It was rewarding for me to help people in any way possible during the pandemic.

In 2020-2021, the South Florida COVID-19 Vaccination Info group's goal was to help the elderly get the COVID-19 vaccine in Florida and also bridge the technology gap that they face when booking appointments. Volunteers helped confirm if those who had initially inquired still needed vaccination appointments, requiring volunteers to reach out to seniors and confirm their vaccination status.

The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, open admission, no kill shelter that relies on the generosity of our donors and volunteers to care for the homeless animals in our community, and place them in loving “forever homes.”
