After spending three years in the Start-Up Studio Entrepreneurial Studies Program, I have achieved much success. I established and run two companies, Swish Tribune and LightSaver. Swish Tribune is a sports media company that serves sports fans a new world to upload their own sports takes and content. LightSaver is a non-profit organization that educates people on the importance of using bike lights. In addition, I have connected with many mentors, as I continue to expand my network. Using the knowledge I've gained from building these businesses, I will continue to pursue entrepreneurship throughout life.

 Kupa, a socially-conscious dental organization, was founded on the principle of creating change through entrepreneurship. Furthermore, Kupa created a 4-month pitch competition for high school students to identify a social need and to create a business plan that not only addresses the need but is built for serious growth. The goal is to impress upon tomorrow's entrepreneurs and that one doesn't have to choose between doing good and doing well.

In a world that is constantly changing and evolving, having a strong network of people that I can reach out to is more important than ever before. By being selected for this North Broward alumni mentoring opportunity, I have a chance to expand my network and strengthen the bond among the NB community.
